This is a picture of a hybrid between Endler's Livebearer and a Guppy.
I have hybrid endlers at home, many of them are blond Hybrid Endlers.
A created blond hybrid
In the begin of the year 2008 I tried to make a hybrid (Cross-breed) of a Brazil "Wildtype" guppy (P. reticulata), a (selective cross-bred by man) ornamental guppy which had a very long but skinny body, another (selectve cross-bred by man) ornamental guppy which had a very dark body with a full black base at the whole body and a verry short body, A yellow coloured Endlerish guppy (not DNA confirmed, so it's not possible to call it "P. wingei") and a real DNA confirmed Campoma guppy "P. wingei". The results of this multiple cross-breeding is realy fascinating (Pictures not taken), also one came out with Yellow skin and it metallic gold/yellow eyes, a full golden metallic body pigmenting also appeared. Many other color variations came out, also beautifull. There are many fishes sold to / shared with people that are not the official ELB type / native wild Endlers, Cumana guppy and Campoma guppy. The fishes that are sold to / shared with others are most of the time not native to the localities of "Campoma" guppy and "Cumana" guppy (not even to mention of true P. wingei).
In this "FAKE" group are many hybrids, brought from selective breeding or less knowledge of what a "P. wingei" should look like or how to recognize/indentify it.
